Forza Motorsport 3 on Xbox

Has anyone played this game yet? I've been playing it and have decided they really have got the 944 right this time! It's fantastic. Really captures the quirks and features of the 944 and best of all someone with a bit of knowledge has designed it so as you modify the car the Torque stays realistically high in comparison. You can even add big bore liners and increase the capacity. I've added as realistically as I can all the parts that my BBU had and it comes out at 480ft/lb torque with 427bhp. Not far from Pauls lil really!![;)]

Interestingly if you chip the car and add an exhaust and air filter you can get it to 311hp and 380ft/lb of torque which are the exact figures James311hp from titanic obtained from AMD's dyno back in the day with a Chip, exhaust and boost enhancer linked directly to the wastgate (bypassing the cycling valve). Once went out in that car and was mightily impressed! ...anyway getting a bit off my already off topic post.

I’m picking my copy up tomorrow. Add me on Xbox live (gamertag = designergeek) and we might get a ’44 race at some point! I think I’ll try and create a replica of my own car and then a second ‘money no object’ 944.

ORIGINAL: Pastry Ive got a copy preordered from amazon should be with me soon, gamertag is rarst.
I wouldn't get too excited if I were you, more postal strikes planned next week.

I’m at work with an Xbox 360 Super Elite Forza 3 pack under my desk. Can’t wait to get home and get it running …

Make sure you get the wheel to go with it. Its not the same otherwise [:D]

Already have the wheel, don’t worry … The new console is because it was cheaper to trade in against this than to buy a bigger hard drive and a copy of Forza 3 separately.

Mine on it's way from Amazon by City Link, as we speak winging it's way up from Milton Keynes. My gamertag: Squirtydog Anyone is free to add me and we can get a race going. Already have you on my friend's list Pastry I think but haven't raced yet. ...another excuse to show off my recycled 944 seat.[:D]

Cheers, I've now been banished to the attic with it. Going to need to build a new one when I get a new wheel with clutch and gearstick for the new game.[:)] Guitar is an Ibanez actually, don't know the exact model. Packed away at the moment since we moved house though.

Ive got a couple of spare leather front seats in grey-beige; I may make a Porsche game chair. Ive made a Porsche office chair before and Im just making a WRX chair at present (whichs far more comfortable).

Nice Epiphone leaning nonchalantly against the wall, is it a Special II?
That is a bit geeky........................an obsession with fire guards...................[&o]

poprock, Not sure I really understood that 'Tag' race we were in yesterday, at least to start with. Think I prefer a normal race. Looked like the other guys gave you got a bit of a pasting in the Lotus.[]

Heh, that was great fun anyway. The first tag race was a bit of a mystery. None of us had a clue what the rules were! The second went much better, found a proper ‘tag’ game setting where one person is it and you tag people by touching them. Or whacking into them at full speed, more commonly. Then found a nice short circuit to play that on. So much hilarity I had tears streaming down my face by the end. My poor little Lotus may have been a wreck, but I won first place. How about the Miura? “I’ve got a wooden steering wheel!” The guys we raced against were half from the Edge games magazine forum and half from Pistonheads. Good crowd, but a lot better at videogames than I am! Time for more practice, I think.
