I did see a certain Chris Evans coming out of an Aston service centre next to my office yesterday (thought he is a Fezza man?)_perhaps he is preparing for the Goodwood Revival this weekend, I'll see if I can spot him there .
Did see a rather stunning black new model Bugatti Veyron is being unveiled at Frankfurt-your challenge is to blag adrive in that[][]

Travelling to Germany tomorrow for a look over the Frankfurt Motor Show on Friday,
Got VIP invitations onto the Fezza and Porsche displays, but nothing from Aston Martin, so won't be buying one of those anytime soon! []
Anyone else there on Friday? []
Regards,
Clive.
Please can you find out the exact colour of the GT3 on the stand? The pictures look fantastic but i still can't work out if it is GT Silver or Rhodium Silver!!
Cheers

........Just one more of the services available to a "full fat" Porsche Club GB member........[]
I'm aiming to lose 10kg before the GT3 arrives, if that helps??
Have to agree with Alex though, the black plastic air scoops and vents do nothing to improve the ambiance, but that nice man from Porsche told me they're working on that! [8|]

Thought the Ferrari 458 Speciale impressive and will be wonderful to drive, but rather lacked the breath-taking first impressions created by its elder brother the 430 Scuderia, but with over 600 BHP, I wouldn't say no though if you were buying! []
However, the star for me was this:-
Carbon tub (just like the McLaren MP4 -12C), mid-mounted 240bhp 1.75-litre turbo petrol engine developing 350Nm of torque connected to Alfa's TCT twin-clutch gearbox and rear wheel drive. All for around £45K. Sounds like a whole lotta fun without parting with too much money. [8D]
Regards,
Clive.
Hmm.. but wouldn't you need to buy two as one would always be in for repairs..?[]ORIGINAL: Lancerlot

0-60 in 4.5? Blimey, the Cayman had better watch out! Although they are only making 3500 worldwide, so maybe not.
I think you're right that it will tempt some away from the Cayman.

4.5 secs to 60 and with a small engine road tax will be cheaper, stunning looking, and all for 45K, the only problem I can see is that its an Alfa - which means it will break down a lot, the electrics wont work and the car will be lighter at the end of each journey as it sheds parts whilst moving.
Great design though

I doubt it will trouble the 911 though. There's a lot more to car choice than 0 to 60 times.
However, there are rumours that Maserati will produce their own version of the 4C; more powerful, possibly bigger, and intended as a 911 rival[:-]
