front spoiler splitter

I don't know if they actually make any noticeable difference aerodynamically and I'm not even going to guess.
I assume you already know, but they don't stick on, they replace the whole under bumper black plastic piece IIRC.

Fen dude, it was slang [
(Shows my age! )
Oh, and by-the-way, and I researched another bit of other slang (but more contemporary) because a PCGB member (2alexcoo) has a dash guage as his / her avatar has 'bling' written all over it. So I asked around all the local 12-year olds and they informed me that 'bling bling' means shiny and ostentatious (as in jewellery).
Anyway, apologies for the digression, now back to the thread...
I've concluded that £250 seems like a lot of money to pay for something that will only manifest its benefits only over 150mph. Meanwhile, way before that, I think the mean streets of the East End, with their speed bumps and all will probably wreck it in a week. So I shan't bother. UNLESS someone wants to flog me theirs?

If it's any consolation, most of the front running 944 Turbos in the Porsche Cup had them so I don't think they would just be for decoration, Give Andrew a call and see what he says

Look here:
http://www.promax.uku.co.uk/splitter.htm
Last I heard, Andrew was collecting names of interested parties:
"I am currently working with a new mould fabricator to reprise the Front Splitter (that many have seen on my road car and is on the website). Before I go ahead with it - would there be any interest for a Carbon Fibre front splitter - cost would need to be £295 and there would need to be at least 10 takers."
Cheers,
Jim.

Wouldn't it be cool if it WAS your car?
Last I heard, Andrew was collecting names of interested parties:
As an interested party, as I understand, the original splitters came from the States but were discontinued. The new splitter is being produced in the UK for Andrew directly but not available yet.
My front under tray is a little shabby round the edges, and I like the lines of the bumper avec splitter, so I'm quite keen.
From what Andrew has said, they are advantagious at speed. Logic, and the fact that all racing cars running in series that allow splitters have splitters, seems to demonstrate they must make a difference.

Hmmm... Anyone else read the white sheet of classifieds that comes with 911&PW subscription this month? There are some _interesting_ sounding cars listed for sale...ORIGINAL: Fen

Jim.
Andrew Sweetenham ownes Promax Motorsport, he has 2 944's and would be suprised if he was breaking either of them,
We are all assuming that the car on the ProMax site is Andrew's. This may not be the case, just a car with one of Andrews spliters on it, just as someone elses car [:-] appears on the Essential Styling web site but doesn't belong to Essential Styling.[8|]
