It's no joke, this year there are two meeting points for this event; if you are travelling down from the north you have the option of going straight to our hosts, who are The Porscheshop. Unit 4, Block 2, Shenstone Trading Estate, Bromsgrove Road, Halesowen. B63 3XB. (Our hosts new premises)[/b]
[/b]
Or you can gather at the usual meeting point Porsche Club GB, Cornbury House, Cotswold Business Village, Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, GL56 0JQ from where the road rally (with rally plate - cost TBA) will start.

Sign up for your rally plate rally (which are only available from Cornbury House) as there will be a mapped scenic run up to our hosts, where we will be looked after.
We are planning something relevant to the day, so pull the car out of hibernation and come and see us.
Look out for any additional information and changes to plans on the 924 area of the forum or give me a call or text on 07940 441452 .
As usual this is a chance to overrun Porsche Club HQ with any 924, 944, 968, 928 and Cayenne cars you happen to own!

Ooooh that sounds tempting [:D]

I've only been to Porscheshop once many years ago and they did have quite a good little shop displaying all their shiny wares and a good many of them were front engined watercool biased [8D]

This will be to their new 10,000 Sq Ft premises that they're building at the moment. Based on what I've see so far it's going to be a real Alladin's cave ... [;)]

The new Porscheshop address to meet at FrontRunner is:

The Porscheshop. Unit 4, Block 2, Shenstone Trading Estate, Bromsgrove Road, Halesowen. B63 3XB

Hi all
Any more for the FrontRunner road rally with rally plaque and map route all for a bargain fiver?

I have a few places left, so if anyone wants to snap them up e-mail me at 924@porscheclubgb.com and I'll e-mail you an application form.

.......our hosts, who are The Porscheshop. Unit 4, Block 2, Shenstone Trading Estate, Bromsgrove Road, Halesowen. B63 3XB........

....... where we will be looked after.

Well that'll make a pleasant change. [>:]

I'm going to use the opportunity to see if the Carbon Dynamics airboxes that they sell will fit in the space behind the headlamp. Then I can have a 90 degree elbow hose pointing down out of my MAF and leading into this airbox which will hopefully reduce my turbine noise just a tad

Hi Paul
Re; FrontRunner 1st Apr.07. to Porscheshop - please confirm E.T.A.
at Porscheshop.
Thanks Dudley.

That'll be approximately the time we get there........... give or take a few minutes.

I'm thinking of stopping off at the Relatives any way as I have no desire to get cross on a weekend. Though in the case of Porscheshop I could make an exception.

I can't do the Rally from Cornbury so am going straight to Porscheshop (to bag all the bargains before you lot get there [;)] )

I'm aiming to get there between 11 and 12 and may make use of the M45 proving ground [:-]

Just had a thought [8|]

Would anyone else not doing the Rally like to meet at Watford Gap services on the M1 at around 10- 10:30 so we can convoy to Porscheshop?

Do I need to renew my membership to attend?

Phil

No. You can meet us a Cornbury House or at Porschheshop but as a non member you cannot officially (Plates and route map) join the Rally as it is licenced by the MSA and the insurance covers club members only.

Geoff Ives.
Rally co ordinator.

I'm trying my best to get a pass-out for this event and if i'm successfull I would also be up for that although it is a round-about way of getting to the Porsche shop from where I live but what the hell, it'll be a good drive out!

Excellent. I'll park in the first lefthand space in the Northbound side of Watford Gap at 10am and we'll leave on the dot at 10:30

My mobile is 07957 734289 for any stragglers [;)]
