Excellent. I'll park in the first lefthand space in the Northbound side of Watford Gap at 10am and we'll leave on the dot at 10:30
My mobile is 07957 734289 for any stragglers []
I'm afraid i'll have to give the convoy a miss tomorrow. The wife is out on the town tonight so I'm on the early morning baby shift so don't know what time i'll be able to get out so i'll have head straight for Porscheshop.

Debating whether I need to have breakfast at home as well as at Cornbury House. When in doubt I guess two breakfasts is better than one.......

Hi Graeme
We are in/near Tenbury Wells
Paul & anyone else from around Worcester, Cornbury will be open from 8.30am & the breakfast waggon open from 9am. As it takes about 40mins from Worcester to Cornbury (at a sedate pace) we will be at J7 M5 at 8.30am we will wait on the top of the junction for about 10mins then make our way to Cornbury for bacon rolls & coffee via Pershore & Evesham.
See you in the morning.

All work has been completed and the meet will give me a chance to feel much better about the bill !
Looking forward to it.

Once plenty of coffee and food had been consumed and all the cars admired, people gradually made their way up to Halesowen. Our little convoy of 5 944's and a 924 made at times some enjoyably "brisk" progress through some lovely corners of the Cotswolds and arrived safe and sound in Brum for some warm white wine and a packet of crisps !
As I said was well worth the excruciatingly early start and I personally think it would be great to hold perhaps a few more Frontrunner events throughout the year in different parts of the country.

Whilst not being overly impressed with the lunch provided by Porscheshop - as in " we'd better open the second box of crisps" - John Sims and his navigator, Brenda Map, found us a fine hostelery. We were slightly lacking in tattoos and piercings to blend in with the local clientelle, particularly in our Porsche logo'd clothing, but the food was great and there was even a colouring competition!
Huge thanks to Paul Hedges and Geoff Ives for the organising. It was good to meet some new faces and catch up with what are a great bunch of regulars!

Sorry Graeme
Missed the e-mail as we were away and I was literally overflowing with some splendid claret and didnt get up until 9:00am [][]
Got there at about 11:30am and saw everyone else going the wrong way on the convoy (Ricks car anyway was easily recognised) , turned up had a burger and a chat and took a few photos but couldnt stay long as my sons money pit (sorry, Mk 1 Golf) needed work for an imminent MOT

If I`d seen the post I`d have got you a copy.
BTW the pub (name escapes me) at the opposite end of the village from the river up the hill on a bend (Tudory, oaky, beamy place) has now got an absolutely superb restaurant in a converted lower floor area, highly recommended.
Yet another excellent route from Mr Ives - I think they get better and better. Many thanks for that Geoff.
The Band of Brendas had a great run to Halesowen making occasional discrete progress with commentary on channel 500 - two way radios are a must for such events. We had a great laugh.
Porscheshop was everything as expected. Well summed up by Suffolk944. Fortunately, armed with a little local knowledge, (I have relatives in Halesowen area) we were able to find a very acceptable lunch stop, as an alternative to the suggested McDonald's.
Following lunch the, now reduced, Band of Brendas had a blast through the Romsley country side before hitting the M5 and M40 homeward.

Was just disappointed we didnt get the chance to go check out the water bed shop as suggested by Mr Porscheshop [8|]
These boys certainly know how to stage an event. Who would have thought of including a water bed shop visit on the agenda? Outstanding! I have to admit to missing this hugely inviting option myself.
