Garaging a boxster

Is theboxster a 'saddo'???? Measuring sticks indeed!!

Mine fits through a 2050 door - JUST!

Get an electric roll door they need less jamb width and it impresses the neighbours!

The max width must be mirror to mirror edge surely your measurements must be reversed?

My figures come from the 987 Fact Book which states:-
Width 1801mm width
With door mirror 1937mm [&o]

Must be without the mirrors at 1780, it was the 986 model as well.

[&o] But the 987 is wider, without the wing mirrors, than a 986 so it can't be 1780! I have taken the measurements from the 987 Fact File and it states 1801mm (1937mm incl mirrors)

Hi Paul,

I have a standard size garage door which my 987 fits through quite easily by folding the drivers door mirror in. Once inside the garage it can be a bit tight sometimes getting out of the car but I have nailed some carpet to the garage wall so as not to damage the car door.

Best of luck
Gary
