Just following up from the ROs comment about Geoff's accident. He fell off his motorbike, fractured 4 ribs, punctured a lung and was unconscious for a bit. Now in hospital for a few days and obviously in some pain. Otherwise OK.

Hi All

Sad news indeed. Hope he had a word with the weather gods before this happened, so that we can all benefit from his hard work organizing the St George Rally.

Hoot three times when you leave Cornbury House in support of Geoff.

Get well soon Geoff.

Have fun

Paul and Mary Kelley

Cannot believe this, 85 people have viewed this and only 6 have posted 'get well soon' notes. Come on chaps... post something to cheer Geoff up. He is gutted that he cannot be there tomorrow. If we can post 9888 comments for the Boxster Spider, surely we can manage a hundred or so for an Honorary Member injured in hospital.

Yeh, but it's only Geoff...[:D][:D][:D]

Maybe if he posted some pictures with his top down, like the Spyders? [8|]

Hope you're not reading this in hospital, Geoff. I'd hate to think of you laughing with those ribs!

We'll do you proud tomorrow, I've already decided on the best Register. [;)]

It's only 9883 posts on the legendary SPYDER thread so far Derek!!

Wishing Geoff a full and speedy recovery. On behalf of the board can I extend warmest thanks to all those who have kindly offered to help out with Geoff's flagship event tomorrow, this is very much appreciated.

Let's hope the weather gods don't wreak havoc in Geoff's absence...

Don't worry Geoff I'll do my best to be grumpy tomorrow in your absence.

It's not going to be the same without you but, thankfully, you will be back again for next year. And then there's the Heritage Rally to look forward to as well.

Get well soon you old devil.

Geoff , sorry I only saw the thread now, but wishing you a very speedy recovery and the luck of us Irish in future. With my military background I can't help but wonder was it an assasination atempt or a hit gone wrong. One of my ambitions in life remains is to do a Cotswolds ( St George ) Rally.
No doubt you were at max RPM when it happened and your 991 GT3 screw was not loose ?

Dave

On behalf of your many many friends in Porsche Club Ireland.

Slainte Mhaith !
