Getting back into the fold with a slightly different perspective ,

There was someone on the Porsche Owners Facebook page last week I think selling a 944 S2 in Turkish Blue which had been restored and they were looking for around £7995 if I remember correctly.
It looked very good in the photos and seemed cheap at that price for the work that had been done.

Thanks of the heads up ExAudiSi,,,,

Ken's car has to be well north of £30k for me, it's practically brand new after the stuff he's done! Be interested to know what he has it insured for!!

£20k for Pete's car would be a steal, nearer £25k imo. However it's not a huge market and as nice as these cars are, they could take a very long time to sell for anything like what we value them at and at the end of the day they are only worth what a buyer is willing to pay.

I think the few cars sold for well over £20k have been bought by speculators. Wrongly IMO, but a low mileage original run 88 Turbo S is what gives them wood.

Nowt wrong with a N/A head Pete - better flow rate that a Twbo one you know ;)

We have an S3 Cab for MrsEldavo and once you get used to the lack of any steering feel whatsoever then it’s one hell of a B-road weapon.

I'd say over £30k....I wouldn't take less than £20k for mine and that would on a bad day...

Pete

These days every punter wants the 'bad day' price though. Plus modifications don't help the value. A while back an older fella on here had a nice looking red G plate turbo for sale. I think it may have been an ex Simon Peckham car, with his rebuilt engine and turbo fitted. It hung around for months and months at not much more money than a standard car.

The smart money will be looking for a convertible now. I've been looking for a Ducati 1198, winter prices have bottomed out.
