Thanks for Msg, was wondering where you were. Regarding 'minutes' then yes - too formal, but have listed roll call elsewhere on Forum (Clubnight Aug 4th) and included a couple of photo's - one featuring your favorite Purple Peril.

Regarding Ideas - All absolutely top - and we'll do them all.
We did discuss last night about shifting the club meets (note 'meets' and not 'nights') to a w/e afternoon during the winter months so we can get some driving and general activities in.
I notice we have support from Nicola in teh NW
First entry here is Picnic on Sunday AUG 15th 11am at the Bridge Inn Walshford. We can hatch plans then.
Finally for now..house/kids/job - 'if only I'd known'...

Suggest a w/e in October as Sept a bit busy (and for you too I fear)

Start an ideas string - this is a pain on 2 pages now. As for ideas, what about a karting event? We woould need to canvass support and committment (deposits) well in advance but would no doubt generate some competition. We could kart in Selby, Leeds or Bradford. Do you want me to get some information / prices etc?

Do you have any dates or preferences i.e meeting points etc....We could probably meet at the Flouch. I did also have an idea for a weekend away in the Lakes. I know of a Hotel called Eese Wyke which is run by an ex International Porsche racer-ex company director come gourmet chef. He sends you to bed with Porsche books, how good is that. maybe in the close season ?

Paul - Dave at STRASSE has organised a Kart Evening for us in Leeds in November I think - 17th rings a bell - if you have a look under the regions tab on the website and select Yorkshire it will be listed there.
The form is you ring up Dave and pay him £10 deposit then turn up on the night.

Moving forward I would like to start a regional Kart championship - in fact I'll start a thread now (see elsewhere)
