Going on a diet.....

Every little element of weight loss all adds up in the bigger picture. Even removing electric windows and mirrors for manual, sound deadening, spare wheel tools etc. If you are fitting a cage then every kg helps offset the 40kgs or so the cage will add. Some elements like poor fitting GRP panels and foggy perspex windows with no carpets etc can make it look more track whore than nimble ballerina so choose your needs and components wisely.

Many know my car already. Its stripped and track focused but not everything has been ditched to maintain some element of comfort for show use as well as fast road/track use. Even with race seats, cage and lowered coilovers I have still used it for a several long haul journeys across country without hassle. Just need to man up!![;)] I will even jump in it to pop to the shops over my daily 9 times out of 10.

Its your car, do as you wish. Just consider the reversibility of some mods should you decide to sell in the future or just return it to stock for yourself.

Hey Pete, it would be a good idea to remove that really heavy a/c condenser if it has no holes in it! I am sure I could find a good home for it!

Sorry Tref couldn't resist! [:D]

Cheers

Stuart

Stuart, it's yours if you want it [:)]. However, you may have to wait until September for it and, pick it up from EMC Motorsport [;)].

Sarcasm.

Were you to see my car you will notice (the photo isn't big enough) to see that it is a 924S with a full 924 Carrera body kit, huge 19 inch wheels and a 968 spoiler. It is painted in full Martini racing livery (pre dates Williams F1 by 3 years) and those are only outside modifications. I will try to attach a larger image.

Very little has been done to the interior with the exeption of white dials ans a sport steering wheel.

For the full build history go Porscheshop website www.porscheshop.co.uk then to 'Customer and Porsche prodject galleries' and Scroll down to 'Roy Jones Carrera GT info, pctures and modifications'. It is near the bottom of the page as it was done back in 2011.

If you are going to the Club Openday in July it will be there.
