Goodwood 968 meet. August 1st 2015

Hope I get my cab back from P9 in time - spoke to Cliff this morning, told him I needed the cab back by close of play Friday 'cos of this meet - he said "I'll see what I can do"!!

 
The Brighton and Hove Motor Club organise a Sprint meeting at Goodwood each year on 1st weekend in August. This also includes a round of PCGB Speed and Hillclimb competition. We have permission to use the car part next to the old control tower for the 968 summer gathering. Last year we had 17 cars, this year looks like being about the same. Food and drink available all day, cars and planes to watch, and plenty of good natured ribbing !

 
Pete, even ex 968 owners who have defected, and 968 owners who threatened to arrive in an Audi, are welcome, so as a new 968 owner, albeit not yet having the car, you'll be more than welcome! I just hope I get mine back from servicing in time!

 
Sad to say I'm going in the bone shaker, the comfort ride is staying at home

as the A4 is still in the dealers while they try and work out what's wrong with the crap electric steering

 
Can't make this one after all chaps, never finished my boiler installation today so have to go back to commission it in the morning [:mad:]!! Never mind, I will meet up with you all soon I'm sure. Take care and have a great day out [:)].

HI everybody Goodwood didn't you do well I counted seventeen 968's brilliant hope you all enjoyed the day. we must repeat the event next year a great venue and coinciding with an event what else could we ask for plus free entry. Good to see Tony Parker still has enthusiasm for 968's wonder if he'll buy another one rgds Ken Coad reg sec

 
Think you might be right Ken

when the 914 becomes to valuable to drive, and the wig has been blown off once or twice in the boxster, we could see another 968 in the tony stable.

Hi Ken, I re-joined PCGB nearly four weeks ago now mate, I have phoned them twice in the past two weeks but, so far, have received nothing, absolutely Zilch [>:]!! Any help you can give will be gratefully appreciated mate [:)].
