I'm sure you lot probably have something like this anyway at times, but would be great to meet up on a nice summers day, seems to have a lot of new turbo's either already here (lucky barstools!) or on the way soon!

Would love to see a nice line up of 997 tt's in all colours etc, and would make a nice day out!

Its already in the planning [;)], quite a few events and drives planned for this year, last year was sadly a bit of a wash out [:(]

It was actualy spoken in December about a 997TT get together, just awaiting a few more deliveries and some decent weather worth getting the car dirty for...

Well make sure you lot wait till after my car arrives! [:D]

All I was told was the production month. I didn't get allocated an exact date until the 1st of that month.

My car arrives early February, however I want it registered 1st March 08. Have spoken with wife about taking sleeping bag to OPC for the couple of weeks it sits there prior to collection so I can stroke it and lick it...........!.
Sorry forgot its a car club for a second!![:D][:D]

Why would you wait to collect?!

Depreciation is based on milage and number of months old.

There's no way I could wait. I was getting SO frustrated/grumpy for the last couple of weeks before collection. Much longer and I would have gone out of my mind!!

Totally agree, on the Porsche web site is says the month as in 02/07 as registered, no longer saying 57 or 08 plate..
Although at a recent conference the speaker did say that it may make about £300 difference between plates.. more of s differnece on saleability to the dealer come resale time, but not yourself though Craig..

If its on a private plate then no one knows anyhow.. [:D]

I've been thinking about making a plan to head for the Midlands Breakfast meets which are now held at RAF Cosford which has an excellent museum as well as car meet.?

Differing view: I'd have thought they would have liked the cash sooner but my dealer actually suggested not to take a Feb. delivery, rather March 1 was better.

Hmm out of character for a porsche dealership, not to want as much money as soon as they can get it!

Probably the case that 3 weeks isnt so much a long time so they arent too concerned.

Seems like there's a good amount of 997 tt's here / arriving this year by the look of it

As Rob posted in Porsche Post Last month, quite a high percentage are also club members and enthusiasts [;)]
