Yes, looks like a nice car, but a question- you obviously like it. How does it compare and contrast, the S2 to your 911SC?

I don't think you can compare them to be honest, thats why I NEED both [:D], the 911 is fantastic as its quick, light and quite a raw experience compared to any 944, where the 944 (especially the S2) as I'm finding out is a great cruiser with a huge turn of speed almost like a GT car and its so comfortable, I would go so far as to say its the best place to be, a really comfy cockpit and one of the most underrated cars out there

I genuinely cannot envisage a day when I won't own a 944 or 911 [:)] even if it means living on beans and toast [:D]

Did a little work to her on Sunday, fitted coloured wheel centres which really seem to lift the wheels, those D90's are definately growing on me [:D] and fitted the PORSCHE side stripe which I love, fitted them to my last lux and just can't resist it!!

Just waiting for my 16mm rear spacers and 7mm fronts from Porschapart just to get that stance a bit more aggressive.

I love 944's me [;)] !!

Thanks for the honest reply Nick! I asked because I've often toyed with the idea of getting a 911SC or 3.2 Carerra (and keeping the S2!) I'd like to experience the 911 thing, maybe buy one that needs body/ paint work and restoring it. No, I'd rather buy an SC or 3.2 carerra project car and bring it back to good condition. A car with full history and good mechanics that is cheap because its getting tatty would be the ideal project.

Its comforting to know that after experiencing the 911 I will still really appreciate the 44' S2.

Nick - make sure you've got enough stud left once the spacers are on

I tried 7mm spacers on the front of my turbo & took them off as I couldn't get enough of the wheelnut (steel, open type) on.

Fitted spacers today, 15mm on the rear and 7mm on the front, no problem with the amount of stud left on the front!
They nicely fill the arches now, I'm really pleased [:D]

Got my club sport wheel also, Magic!!

Good man. [8D] It's surprising how much more purposeful the car looks with such a minor tweak.

More pics! [:D]

When you write a post there's a row of little pictures and icons for "bold", "underline" etc. Click the last of these, a yellow box with a mountain in it, and you will get a prompt to enter the url. Put the photobucket link in here and it will be included in your post.

Probably.....[&:]

Nick, looks great, superb colour and mint condition. Could only have been better if it had been a turbo! (joking of course[:D])

Must get a club sport wheel for the 964 to replace that Nardi thing..............
