Deb & I will once again be opening our garage doors to PCGB members for our annual BBQ on Saturday 9th September from 1.30pm.

You can find us at Grande Tyres Fastfix, Whickham Ind Est, Swalwell, NE16 3DA.

Last year was a huge success and we were crammed all day with members coming and going all day long, so because of space, parking and of course, how much food we need, can anyone wishing to attend this year please let me know to avoid the disappointment and embarrassment of being turned away. Please email r3@porscheclubgb.com to reserve your place, if your name isn't on the guest list...It is unfair to assume you can just rock up when we need numbers to allow us to pre-plan. In previous years I have had to rush out to panic buy mid-way through the day due to extra numbers just turning up.

The afternoon will follow the usual winning formula of simply good food, merriment and banter and should anyone like to use my four post ramp to check, inspect or dabble with anything underneath your car you are more than welcome to do so at your own risk and will booked on a first come basis. That said, no, you can't just put a clutch in it while you're here.

Deb and I always personally fund the BBQ ourselves all we ask for is a minimum donation of £5.00 per person for you to enjoy the BBQ and all of the money raised on the day will be added to our final total for the Air Ambulance fund. All offers of food, cakes, or anything that you feel would add to this experience is always welcome. So why not bring a bottle and enjoy another great R3 bash.

Because of the size of our garage this event is not weather dependant and will go ahead even if raining we simply pull everything inside.

Gutted we can't make it this year as we are away with R18 on the WOTY in Scotland [:(]

Hope you have great weather and a great day [:)]

Sorry Deb & Greg, I would have liked to come but have the Revival booked for that weekend. look forward to hearing about it at the club night.

Hi D & G

Regret - we cant make this year I'm afraid - we're away that weekend meeting my cousin in Cumbria. Sure you'll all have a "Grande" time!

Dave & Karen

Had a great afternoon in enjoyable company thanks to our hosts Greg and Deb at the clubs annual barbecue with proceeds going to a very deserving cause. My 2nd event and again meeting up with such amiable frendly people. Why did I wait so long to participate 🙂

Great day once again, thanks to Greg and Deb for organising and funding and to all the contributors of delicious food....lovely tea-loaf,chocolatey, nutty, cakey kind of thing...[:)]
