lol... Nick
Just like buses these clubs eh?

Suppliers for 'cloisonné' badges are not that common and not cheap either. The best I have are in the USA ;( Any contacts would be great... I have tried Fattorinis etc...

Only a TShirt and Grille badge at present planned...
Could do a sticker when the present ones run out, sometime in 2015 at the present rate [:D]

Ok so I was bored this morning... should look something like this ish.

So now to the crunch, how much would you pay?

Won't be able to make it £12.50... thats the TShirt price! [;)]
I recon we will do about 50, still negotiating the prices...

I like it Gav - where does the club get its enamel badges made?

A similar price to the club badge would seem reasonable - especially if you are only going to get 50 or so made.

I reckon 30 ish quid would be fair (in Germany again so no pound sign), how much is the US register grill badge?

Nice work with the shading on the grille pic gav.

$38 for the 912 Registry
$30 for the 356 Registry

I think they ordered many more than us though...

Can't commit yet as no firm prices.

Hopefully the badge and the TShirt will be done for the 'Champagne trip'

Well...

The whole thing was initially 'drawn' in Adobe Illustrator. One complete it was exported into Adobe Photoshop, in the process converted from a 'vector' artwork to pixel based image. Once in Photoshop, some of the 'modelling' was added to give it a slightly 3D look. The top image then had a filter applied called 'lense flare' simulating the sun shining into the lense of your camera. (kind of pointless considering its not a 'photo' as such). The bottom image is a combination of an actual photo and the Illustrator version. The bottom version shows how the 'lense flair' filter should be used... with subtly!

All done very quickly so a bit rough round the edges, 15 minutes all in, excluding the initial Illustrator version.

The Lense flare filter is very sophisticated and you can choose various lense types and how much or little you want the effect to 'show'. The skill (if there is any) is positioning the 'highlight' in a realistic position.

Great set of programmes...

All done to produce a Porsche Club badge... so 'on topic' just [;)]
