Grille Badge

Pozo...

Very good Gavin, made me laugh.

May aswell have been in Finnish though.....................

James, Photoshop CS (ver8) not a chrome effect, rather a mask applied then various graduations and airbrushing to give the sky reflected in the chrome look.

I used to be an airbrush fiend at art college inspired by the 80's Porsche advertising, ahh those were the days... So Photoshop was a easy transition for me. Use it every day so that helps too. Wish I had done a better job now!

Gavin,

Great design!!!!

I like the German touch and the occassion (40 Jahre)

At the US 912 registry 'we' had a lot of discussion about the design.
1 good point was about not having twice '912' on the badge...

I think only 'register' suits better.

Greetigs from an (also) cold Holland!!!!

No l like it simple clean lines and to the piont.

When do we get our sticky mitts on one [8D]

Well I have sorted the quotes out, so just need to get the artwork sent off etc...
I am aiming for March, the tooling etc takes a while, who knows maybe sooner.
Fingers crossed...

Cool.... I might have to have two. Fingers crossed but I might have just bought a rather nice 912E [:(] oh no my 69 12 engine fund has just gone Pete Tong!!! ops..

Afer' noon GJ,
Please add me to the list of 40 jahre 912 grill badge punters, thanx. It will no doubt 'enhance[&:]' the look of my Chocolate brown 912E, aka 'Fudge'[:D].
By the way, 912E's need love too so hows about a '30 Jahre 912E' Badge[;)] as it was way back in the Bad Ass '70's, 1975 to be precise, that the last of production run of 'Proper' Porsches was started.TIA, {But I won't hold my breath[&o]}.

Porsche 912E's of the world,{OK, Great Britain}, unite,
You have nothing to loose but your anonymity![8|]

I would like one as well. i've just spent 3 hours cleaning the rear grill and brocken all my nails in the process, now a grill badge would set it off very well and make allmy hard work worth while.

I am discussing it at the workers conference, hopefully going to be assured of the finance... as soon as I get the ok I will order them and be asking folks who have ordered for pre-payment. Exact price tbc due to exchange rate.
