Sorry, it is, it is .........got carried away with GT Clubsport heading , from previous silver car sorry...........cars been in Fearnsport lately, bloody gorgeous and drives beautifully , superb settings ..............had to help Mike out and deliver it to Andy s when collecting mine ..........such a chore !!!

Not the same price however! Gmund had it up at £99,950 IIRC and I'm sure I saw it some where else before that at around £85k! How things have moved on!

Is it an M003??...obviously modified here and there,,,,,

I know we will never agree, from so many different sources but the number of GT2 and in particular CS models quoted, definitely looks like a seller than a buyers perspective...as it were (way too low!)

I Try to stay away from these conversations , cage a bit odd , carbon fibre bonnet and doors ................cud this be some kinda old race car ???????? Prices are so mad at the moment in GT2 S HE MIGHT EVEN GET IT !My old blue one was hardly unmodified mechanically but it was original panel SCOM made the owner £204 k on that with IRO 60 000MILES

The truth i dont really know which one , remember GMund had 2 very similar cars .........................Andy showed me pictures at Oulton Park couple of years back........................i really just meant generally !

Sorry Vic, thought you were specifically referring to that race car (both same car). Gmund took the car basically road registered it...I believe its owner was called Neil IIRC? Nosey sod aren't I![;)]

The GT2 for sale for 220,000 Euro's is the same car we sold last year (for under £100k !), the car is a genuine Clubsport, it was new in Switzerland, and then came to the UK in the late 90's. It was then turned into a track car and raced in the Porsche Open for many years. We bought it as a race car, and then spent months restoring it to it's original condition. We bought new front wings in steel from Porsche (via Brian at Jasmine), new front bumper, all new extended arches, a new rear spolier etc...and then Mark Walker at MW Bodyworks in York re-painted the whole car. Brian at Jasmine sorted the wheels being restored, and then we fitted new road tyres and two new Recaro Pole Position seats. We then got the car MOT'd and road registered and drove it round on the road, at 550 bhp believe me it was fun ! I always thought it would have stayed in the uk as a wild road registered track day weapon, but as with so many left hand drive cars at the moment - they all seem to head back into mainland Europe. We did enjoy restoring it though.

Hmmm, not sure... Check a couple of cars and see what happens by the time they appear on Classic Car Collection [;)][;)]

no sour grapes here chaps , after all my pretty original cs just went thru for similar money....................i think that Gmund sold the car for abt fair market price , will provide a lot of fun for someone ..............the market has of course moved on ..........but even so........... try and get aluminium doors for this car and a bonnet then have fun , hahaha, making them fit ................u wont see change fro £10k if ur lucky ......................i always thought people paid for originality and matching numbers and stuff provenance etc .......................albeit not on a race car different set of rules ........................but then rareity of 993 gt2 CS also a factor , sorry but this one IMO is still at best around £100k level .............................but who knows what someone else will pay ?????
