Handling worries

I can get the Michelins cheaper than the Contis, 130 for the rears and 105 for the fronts (fitted) at merit tyre
 
That's a very good price.

I used to pay more than that for 4 Conti's and my best buddie owned the place!

He doesn't own it any more and I'm not sure if we are still friends. [:D]
 
I'm just hoping my problems are due to the tyres

I suppose its change the front tyres, and if I still have problems get the geometry checked.
 
Also worth checking the "Drag Links". These are the links that attach the anti roll bar to the each suspension strut. These may be worn even if you don't hear knocking (which is a symptom when the are completely gone). I just had my front ones replaced on advice from OPC inspection (even though they weren't knocking). I was sceptical, but I have to say they have made a very noticeable difference - the front now feels stiffer and more planted on the road. Considering they are only £23 each , they are worth replacing as a matter of course !
 
I've changed the fronts to Michelin Pilot Sports and the handling is transformed- I'll never mix the tyres again
