Hi Mark,
Many thanks for the ticket and for organising our Porsche attendance.
Looking forward to speaking to R7 members on sunday, especially those going on the Yorkshire Dales/North Yorkshire Moors weekend in October.
Kind regards

I think it says somewhere in the instructions that came with the tickets that if you arrive after 10.00 you will have to park in a different area. They have said this every year and it hasn't happened yet, but there is always a first time.
The entrance for us, coming from the Leed side or turn right from Colingham past the main entrance and then next on the left, following the yellow signs for display cars. This takes you to the top right of the field that the show is on. If you go through the main entrance you will NOT get onto the field.
With the tickets is a show pass, it has a number on it, there will be a sign with a matching number on it for our parking area, the marshalls will direct you.

So does that mean I need to pass the main archway/entrance on my left or right?

Thanks again from everyone at RPM (Knaresborough)

We've got a (dodgy) video of the parade, trying to get it on to YouTube so we can share it but it keeps falling over [] , not sure why, probably because our PC is a bit ancient. Where's a geeky teenager when you need one! Will post a link to it if we ever get it uploaded successfully.

Despite the awful weather first thing we had a great turn out and once the sun came out later on it got very warm, I belive my head is now sun burnt!
As a result of the array of cars we had on show we managed to win the Club of the year award. Not only did we get a nice certificate but some Harewood beers which will be raffled off at the next meeting. This also means that we get to lead of next year's show with the first parade of the day. Well done everyone, second year as a club visit and we win a prize.

First of all I would like to thank Des, Nick and Andy from RPM in Knaresborough for sponsoring our entrance at Harwood today, it is very much appreciated.

I also so enjoyed it and so did my dad. Sounds good about the club of the year, i might have been looking at all the other cars when that was announced though. I think I also got sunburnt on my face and neck too[] dont know how tho as there wasnt that much sun[].
Edit: I would also like to add that even though it was my second club outing i'm still a bit nervous about talking to you guys, I was packed on the back row next to somebody called lee a red 964 i think it was. Oh and the long trip did my car some good i managed to get 30 to the gallon[8|].
I take your point re the commentary and it was a shame they ran short of time when it came to the Porsche parade.
It may have been an ongoing issue as it appears that the MC didn't have time to change!!!

I have scanned the certificate we were given, and I have run off copies for all who were there, I will bring them to our forthcoming events/meetings. Don't be afraid to ask for one, as I don't have a definitive list of who, or how many cars, were there.

Ok i wouldn't mind a copy, whens the next meet?ORIGINAL: gb
Thank you Mark for organising a brilliant day out, also thanks to the RPM guys for their support it is appreciated, and what a great finish to the day to get "Best Club" award. As we will be the first cars to parade next year, maybe we could get a running order for the parade, so we can give the MC a proper model list in order to avoid any more Porsche Tanga's creeping in!!!!!. For those who were not there, this is how the Targa's were announced.
