Hi Helen

Where exactly is the meeting point [?] - TomTom needs a postcode; Londoner who hardly knows anywhere outside the M25 area!

Are we to bring a picnic or is there a place for reasonable food nearby?

the idea is to bring a picnic. but if you would prefer there is a pub at Hatton Locks called the waterman where im sure you'd get fed and watered.

Hi Helen,
Like the idea, especially if weather is good, but is this open to non-PCGB members? I am thinking of becoming a member but seem to join clubs then not find them of use to me.....

Clubracer,

Please come along, visit the Club HQ, meet people, and then decide?

Bring your chequebook - (I'm predicting the result [;)] )

Hi Helen

Hatton Locks - what sort of facilities does it have? For example, if...it.... rains!!!

Looking forwards to a peaceful day.

Incidentally, where about in Moreton in Marsh is the PCGB building? Is it signposted?

Hi. There is a large Pub called the Waterman just beside the locks so if it pees with rain we'll stop there instead.

Cornbury house is the first building on the "Cotswolds Business Village" which is signposted. (can be found off the A44 london road)

See you there!

(So who HAVE we got? - I'd hate to be leaving anyone behind because we don't know who they are...)

It may be worth calling The Waterman as when I was last there (6 weeks ago) they were undergoing a massive refurbishment and only had a tiny bar open and no food. I do know that if you continue a mile past The Waterman towards Solihull there is another excellent pub on the right. See the map below marked PH

Sadly you can't see the Locks from there without a telescope [:D]

In view of the fact that I will either be late or get lost [even with the help of TomTom] can you or someone else give me a mobile phone number so that I can catch up and/or ask for directions.
Thanks.
