Headlamp Upgrade

ORIGINAL: 944 man
A VW Golf Mk1/Mk2 re-wire kit will help no end. Anything will work better with 12v instead of the 9v-10v that youre probably delivering.

Got more information on this type of kit Simon?

Thanks

I got mine from these guys:

Initially it was not quite right, because it was for an early dash car, so I took measurements from my S2, and they made a new loom to suit. I actually took my car round to them, and they fitted it, and noted the difficulty of making the connections to the headlights, and suggested an alternative connector which would improve fit further. Very helpful, and keen to improve their product (which as far as I was concerned was pretty good anyway). No connection other than a satisfied customer...

Note the link I provided was the one I bought - I suspect they have a separate listing for an S2/Turbo version, so don't just hit the "buy now" button on this one and then blame me please!

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: You're a bad man.

Anyway I have found the solution - welding goggles! You bright sparks can do what you want, I can't see a thing at night [;)]
