Hedingham Tickets

still a great show for us classic car buffs. for me what makes it special (and therefore worth the money) is the fact the show is strictly kept to pre 1973 (or 75 in a few 914 cases) Porsches.
it's a golden oppertuntity to meet other owners, to compare notes also to chat with the specialists.

what is even more interetsing is, this is in Essex region and we as Essex members are asked to help with various aspects, parking etc as no doubt other volunteers will be requested.
so i would also be interested in who is benefiting financialy from this event.

Have you been asked this year?

now that's a very interesting point Helen because i do not beleive we have this year.
looked back at old region newsletters and it just says refer to Porsche Post.
even more intriguing.

The 356 Register secretary has been asking for volunteers - and still is - see the latest edition of Porsche Post!

He says you need only 'apply if you can spot the differenced between at 356,a 914, a911, a 912 and a milk float at 20 metres'

Thats me out then[8|]

umm what is the diffrence between a 911 & 912 at 20 metres ? (unless you can read the badge on the back)......guess that rules me out too [:-][][]

Hi All

As far as I am concerned this event has always been a "Porsche Club Event" It seems that there is a situation between the Board and FH re previous accounting issues, and the event this year appears to be running as an independant event, supported however by Porsche Cars.

As they say "watch this space"

Our Chairman seems to give his full support based on his comments in the RS register column in Porsche Post.

Mary and I are going, as we have been to all the previous events come rain and shine!

Have fun

Paul Kelley

looks like i shall be there in the Panamera (so in the visitor parking) as i have alot of parts & bit's to collect. far too many to fit in the 356a [:(] gutted as i was looking forward to the drivng the 356 and showing it off. we didn't make it to the show last year as Tuthills cocked up the electrics on my early 911 and it broke down before we'd gone more than 8 miles. []

Helen,

You should take the 914 [:)]

With "His & Her's" boots you should get all your spare's, you have bought in it. [;)]

that was the original plan but the 914 is currently in several bits. while we await (which we hope to collect at Hedingham)a new exhaust & few other bit's.

looks like i might be bringing the 914 but it'll be on a trailer and the seats & back board (and other bit's)will be in the Panamera will make quite an interesting "work in progress" display..make a change form all the perfect cars there.[:)]

Back to plan A.

otherwise it seems i'll have to pay an extra £20 entry fee for the 914 [&o]

Where are the entry charges coming from? Still not understanding this event at all....[]
