Hello

There’s plenty of track fiends in the area, but most of them drive more modern Porsches … nice to see a 944 or two bombing around Knockhill. Feel free to come along to some of the PCGB monthly meetings for a chat and a drink—and the TIPEC ones too. TIPEC meet at Bo’Ness Motor Museum first Wednesday of every month, PCGB meet at Sherbrooke Castle Hotel in Glasgow on the first Tuesday, and at Dakota South Queensferry on the first Thursday. They all kick off around eight in the evening. There’s more trackday guys at the PCGB meets, but a lot more 944 owners at the TIPEC ones. Take your pick!

Well, i picked her up last night (in the heavy rain []) and got her home nice and safe - she smells like she is running a little rich but that's ok, better than running lean [:D] Could anyone tell me off hand what the correct tyre pressures are supposed to be on the 944 - i think they might be a little low? Also - got her booked on for a track day on the 1st November so will be able to give her a good run out then, if any other 944 owners will be there it would be good to met you - just come up and say hi - i'll be the slow moving dark green 944 ;)

My Lux is officially 29 front & 36 rear, but I prefer a bit less in the rears personally. Might be because I have P6000s, which are the forerunner of the "runflats" that BMW fit.......as in they are hard enough not to need air in. [&:]

Couple of pics for you guys:

ORIGINAL: Diver944 Oooooh - Nile Green and a super shiny exhaust [8D] Very nice
Nile green - SOOOOO common around here now! [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D] It's a great colour, the way you described it as "tatty" I thought it'd be really scruffy but it looks good in the pics. As Mark says, the wheels really make the car.

Thanks for the comments guys, but pictures can be deceiving [;)] Looks a bit like someone has washed her with rocks in the past, but i put a good polish and wax on her and the wheels so she scrubs up a little better than she was Its a little bit of a futile exercise however, ahead of the beasting she will get this weekend on track ;)
