I don't think much of Porsche Post (nice production values but little content of interest to me beyond the regional and register diaries).
I didn't use a single club discount over the year that I don't already get from being a TIPEC member.
PCGB events of interest to me are all too far south for me to attend without taking time off work and paying to stay overnight (expenses I can't afford).
The monthly meetings were getting better, I like that Alan has tried to put together actual events each month rather than just a chat in the pub (because who needs to pay members fees just to go to the pub?), but that's still not a lot to get for my £70 per year when I have to factor in petrol costs getting to the club meets as well.
The only thing I really appreciate and get a lot of use out of is this web forum "¦ which I can use as a non-member anyway.

i attend most of the events, and am not aware of anyone taking membership numbers, although there was a book at the first riverhouse night for people to sign ? (I am all for non members attending events to get to meet people and see what the club is all about - if its not for them, then that is a personal choice - the club is about the members and how they support each other)
i think possibly there has been more than enough said on this subject and i think things will perhaps change in the near future !
regards
scott.
