HELLO

£1500 if you go with the full SSI type system as shown in Ian's picture I believe.

I can email you the component prices if you like. Ian also fitted mine for free.

Perhaps you all should check out Triad exhausts , though they are not stainless, I 've had mine on a 18 months now with no signs of corrosion , only seen rain once though. I have one on my SC with early HEs , gives the SC a good increase in accel' and response and the sound is simply wonderful. There is a comparitive Dyno chart of exhausts based on a heavily modified 3.2 on the sight which should make you all start working harder to save up the readies!

Site is basic but click on products button on the front page to access. I paid £233.00 all in but somehow avoided import duty! [:D]

Jacob - I listened to your sound bite a while back and it does sound nice and, as you say, nowhere near too loud. Was it purely the back box that you bought and how much was it all-inclusive please?

$450 for the rear box and $86 postage (don't get the stainless hardware - the bolts are too big and the strap is too small + you can get them cheaper over here).

At todays rate that is only £295. Now, if you get stung by customs, add 4% to the total (import duty) and then a further 17.5% (VAT). Thats roughly £360.
It is a lightweight muffler made out of high grade SS, the quality is very good and the sound even better.....
