Help Please - CDR22 aux connection

ORIGINAL: Caterman

Bull

You need to make sure the Aux setting on the head unit is "on", on my unit, you hold down the TP button until the Becker menu comes up then cycle through to Aux and set the on or off with the right hand rotary button, not sure if it is the same with yours.

You may have the wiring for the CD changer in place so you may still need to leave the centre connector unplugged. At least you won't have the same issue I now have.......I have 4 CDs still in the changer which I forgot to remove so I'll need to get the stereo out again, reconnect it etc etc .Ho hum

I fed the 3.5mm wire down behind the unit and out through the carpet trim panel in the passenger footwell. I had taken out the aircon unit which makes it all a lot simpler.

BTW this all relates to pre MOST hifi

Good luck

I could bloody kiss you lot!

Cable arrived today, took 10 mins and now I have iPod in the car, all for £2.99!!!

Thank you VERY much.

Excellent. Gives you a great feeling of satisfaction when DIY jobs go well doesn't it.

I'm just a bit concerned that the aux cable is my 4th DIY job in 6 weeks on a car I didn't buy as a garage hobby. Not sure if that says more about me or the car?
