It's the official name for the dealers after they all had to go aluminium and glass. As Paul suggested Exeter is almost always cheapest if you ring them and mention "the forum". Porscheshop tend to resell parts you can get from the OPC for more than OPC prices, though they sell other stuff the dealer doesn't have as well.
Although Porscheshop wanted £41 ish per turbo exhaust valve and £31 ish for each turbo inlet valve on my 924 T whereas OPC reading wanted £86 ex and £69 in per valve. There is no general so and so is always cheapest IMHO it is always worth 'phoning a few palces.
It surprises me if Porscheshop are cheaper for valves, unless they aren't OE ones. It is possible they get stock from the same supplier Porsche do and sell them on with less mark up of course, but they don't get business from me primarily because I consider them expensive.

Many Thanks,

I know you probably don't need the expense now, but worth changing the belts while your in there, as it will be minimum extra cost,
Tony
My understanding was, if the water pump seized, it was likely to take out the cam belt. I am surprised that the pump alone has been diagnosed as a problem.
As Tony says, if you are changing the water pump the belts have to come off so there is no point in not changing them. It is a job that even some so called Specialists screw up so I wouldn't go it alone and would seriously consider going to a reputable Specialist.
