Helping me to keep my car...thanks chaps

Fen,
I believe we are, Tracey & I will be there about 11am. There was talk of retiring to a local hostelry I know for liquid refreshment & food.
Who is coming along for food so I can warn the pub to expect us?

I will do the food only; I checked bank statements and it seems that although I did send off a DD mandate it was not processed and I did not pay PCGB membership for this year, so technically I am not a member and I have no intention of changing that situation. On that basis it would not be appropriate for me to make use of the club HQ.

I'm aiming to be there at 11am also (and am happy to sign in any guests who have blue cars with big turbos and spoilers [:D] )

The Toy and model car fair organised by Helen is also happening on this day so the place will be pretty busy with plenty to see. I wonder if there will be more than half a dozen model 944s (if any)

I'm not sure it's in the spirit of letting my membership lapse to then get signed in to club HQ though, is it?[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]If I fit a spoiler to the hearse can I qulaify with that and drive there in comfort? Actually in all seriousness I am bringing the MTGQ next weekend, but purely because Paul wanted to see some of what has been done to it. For the other 2 Porsche-related engagements I have in Feb I fully intend to use the hearse.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Fen,
I'm sure the parking is a public area & I have never yet (untill next Sunday that is) had to show my membership card at Cornbury House.

I know. I actually have a membership card for this year anyway, hence me not suspecting I wasn't a member until I realised PP had stopped coming. The point is though that I have chosen to leave through being disgruntled (I only elected to rejoin to go to Brands, which I didn't get to in the end) so I shouldn't then use the facilities.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Just meeting for lunch means I don't have to get up so early, too.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

I`ll be there and looking forward to meeting you all. 11:00 it is then.

Hope its fine (no snow)
