In the end I got the meter out and tested, my assumption on this occasion was correct thankfully! I'm obviously not as brave as you!

I've just finished the install, what a difference, if it dries up later I might take it for a late night blast.
In one or two of the install write-ups it mentions having to dress the headlamp side of the bulb holder to get the bulb to fit. Has anybody else had this problem? Mine just went it but they were on the tight side.
