Usually it's a fiver to get in as a spectator BUT if you say your driving at the gate and then decide not to no one is the wiser.
I ain't told you that RIGHT

After the fun this weekend at Knockhill, I really fancy this, but hopefully I'll be recovering from my back op. on Friday. This is on the basis that the surgeon is back([;)]!!). If it gets postponed (again) I might come along for the fun!

I'll be going but getting chauffered in the wifes BBR'd Mini because my baby is still getting fixed, don't think it'll be ready in time[:(]can't wait to get it back, three months is a long time to go without it,(the Porsche i mean)![;)]

Ok Fancy a non race against my standard Cooper?
What's the BBR increase, worth it? BHP/Pound?
Mike

Not allowed to race the car when the wifes around, but when i have it on my own it's as much fun as the Porsche, it's 220 bhp so an extra 60 brake for £1300 ain't bad!

Sounds like a good day, if I get the time I'll come along. I won't be taking my own car out as I don't yet have quite enough confidence...the weekend knockhill track day school was my first experience of tracking a car...but I'd love to see all of your cars.....and if anyone would like to offer to let me passenger for a couple of laps, I'd appreciate it.

Well my operations been postponed, so I'm going to call them tomorrow and book a slot (hopefully, if there's any left!)

Can anyone tell me what time it all starts, and in general what goes on ??......and.......how would you all feel about a female in a 911 getting involved[:D]

The event starts at 11am and runs till 3pm. It costs £65 to take your car on track. Would imagine that you have to pre-book, directly with Knockhill, and turn up at least half an hour before, to get drivers briefing etc.
It may well be split into two sessions, but you will certainly get plenty of time on track for your money.
Oh and I'm not prepared to be drawn into a sexist debate!! You are more than welcome to come along!! [:D]

Thanks Derek[:)] for all that very prompt and accurate information, just what I needed to try and plan my Sunday, don't know yet whether I can get there, but I will be trying!!!

OOOPs, Thanks Derek, to many things going on at one time. I've driven Ingleston several times( quite a while back) but never Knockhill. I did come up and watched at some of the track nights this summer. The previous posting re the track experience day last week sounds as if it would have been an ideal introduction, sorry to have missed out on that but if you do hear of it being arranged again I would be interested.

No problem.
Am hoping that Knockhill will allow us to go to the next one, although I would imagine that it won't be until the Spring of next year, now.
Would certainly recommend such a course, by way of introduction, prior to going out on track with the big boys!! [8|]
