How much?

Laurence I have to admit it was last used enthusiastically on new years eve, something to look forward to the roads are clear of salt again....I hope you manged to sort those oil leaks out, "Q" would have been proud of the smokescreen, [:D]

You still miss the point about the book,,,,it will be produced in Limited numbers for buttons and instantly worth multiples of the cost [;)]

And will be printed on exceptionally fine rice paper to keep the weight down......[:)]

Wow!
Thanks guys huge amount of useful stuff, all points noted!
I've no interest in just re-printing hard back or not, it needs to move on
If it comes anywhere near the RS bible I will be more than chuffed.
Will persue the factory connection through the club.
Only recently found out about the Werkcrew book - will be in the queue for the 2nd edition, for those who've seen it would that style of binding suite?

Ultimately the club has to stand behind the book - but if the register does then that's a big step forward.

This encourages me to perhaps consider a limited edition as the way forward.
If it was a limited edition priority to register members would that help register membership Mel?

thanks again

Tony if you limit the nos. to the no. of RSs made I will buy my VIN no! :O)
Need to fix Melv's Cup info and get some decent Cup pictures( not ice cream van) in the book.
Hacki's Cup is a one of. If it is well produced it will sell well on Amazon.

I have been asking George Konradstein to produce a 64RS follow up! Das Buch Swei

Do 1000 English and 1000 German.

You've been asking the wrong bloke , unless that's the Scotty accent mangling the German [:D]

Anyway , the Konradsheim book would be a good examplle to follow if you have one more book left in you Tony.

Yea know ye the 964RS , the Word of Des has been heard in the Fatherland , the Right Handed ones have been taken in captivity by the riches of the East , and it shall come to pass that the Book shall be written.....

964 seems a good number[;)] followed by a second print run of 360[;)]

I read somewhere that the even the best selling "car" books only have a run of 5000 so some research needed!

My current understanding is that in todays world most of the cost is up front, reprints even of single copies can be done easily. So I think the target will be a relative small numbered run. Any reprints would also be small fixed runs so as not to devalue the originals!

See! It was predicted from my previous post ;-). And if you produce two books (or three) per serial number of RS chassis some RS owners will buy both (and more) "to corner the market." a gold mine :)))))
