Alasdair's flambeed vehicle is a J plate 250 turbo so should have had the updated bits on it.

I checked with OPC a few months back and they said my car had no outstanding recalls (1990 model). They didn't tell me however about the switchover in March '88 so it all makes sense now! Phew.
