Getting on the boost really messes up your economy. The talk we've had about getting nearly 400 miles to the tank is all on a steady commute. My first trackday after the GURU kit was down to 9 mpg []
Ouch 9mpg!!!
I got 30mpg the first day i drove the car. all M-way 400miles from Shirlyes. Was very impressed, keep it off boost sitting at 70 and excellent.
But hey thats not what the car is about.
Anyway i have a scooter and a tdi golf for ecconomy.
It went off again so I'm assuming:-
a) The tank had only just dropped to the warning level due to the petrol slopping around in the tank.
b) It was so thrilled to have done something, having been idle for years, it blew.
