I bought the IOM car in Bristol through Porsche Centre Cardiff. Sold with dud rear shock, missed by 111 point check. Initially promised warranty then told car too old. Happy ending since car car sorted by JZM. Recaros and harness fitted by Ninemeister. Speedlines refurbished by Adrian and in boxes. BBS aluminium race wheels fitted. Geometry by Centre of Gravity. Now cared for locally by Chris Denning Sports Cars in Cardiff who also fitted passenger harness plus other fine adjustments. Enjoys life on track, but not often enough!

Love speed yellow - one of the best colours.
Another one we couldn't quite do a deal on was a speed yellow RHD car that was hill climbed quite a bit. Big miles (not big, just big compared to a lot of 993 RS, 70k odd). No history as such as it was always serviced and looked after by its owner.

Although the development engine was exchange for a bench run-in new engine at around 17k ---

Chris, I thought you had the generic Recaro pole positions with the grey shoulder pads, rather than the CS seats, also with a different moulding on the seat back...could be wrong as usual!
There were a couple of of small pack rivieras back in '02-03....I looked to buy one, it had been "repaired" then sold on in Germany where that didn't seem to matter.
Most people seem to fit the RSR spoiler pack to them, 'cause it is well cool innit!?? []
Ultimately, when it comes down to it and these cars are worth silly...or should I say, even sillier money, originality will be key.

No, it is standard lightweight --- the point I was trying to make is --- that was the description given to it by Porsche at the time they built it in November 1994 ---

Isn't it odd how everybody says they like the road look over the clubsport look and yet so many cars have the big spoilers, I have both sets for my c2 doing a good impression of an rs and after starting with the small kit, felt i had to try the big one, it works visually from some angles, but looking dead side on, that side rear spoiler profile just does not blend with a single line on the car! I think it might be time to go back, But what do you guys do about the small holes in the front bumper where the rubber is attached to fill in the gap between the center section and the cars original bumper on the clubsport kit? they would be visible once again when you put on the corner splitters of the small pack?

Yes, this problem would also affect a genuine car which tries to go back from clubsport to small spoilers, unless that is, the clubsport kits are lashed up with regard to the center rubber seal so that it's easy to go small without filling small holes in your bumper. Perhaps a bit of filler/plastic weld and paint is small beer on a car worth as much as an rs when spoilers are changed.
I can only dream of owning a real RS ( made the wrong choices at end of school, financially speaking!) so my c2 must become the closest thing to an rs in driving feel that i can create.

colt, a c2 is a great car and a superb Porsche.
An M002, unless specified from the factory with the RSR bodykit (@cost of £5k !!!) had the small spoiler kit, if you had this and revert back to the smaller kit you are still going to have issues changing between the 2.

I know the thread has drifted a little but has anyone seen a Riveria Blue car with small spoiler pack?
Mine.....before the dentist sold it to the plastic surgeon who trimmed some fat off - put RS Recaros in, removed sports seats - put bigger, more curvaceous items from the factory on the front and the rear.
I do get what Christian is saying re the side profile. One of my favourite views is the reflection of the triangular air intake in the side mirror.

When people look inside the 964RS Clubsport, they are amazed. They think it is a real race car ---- and to be fair, it's as close as ever one will get, and straight out of the box.

Like you, having owned both. I have come to the conclusion that a small spoiler, non airbag, non leccy window car with buckets is probably the most useable and maybe best of the lot?! []
