I think this is going to hurt

Your figures are about double for the kidney bowl/doorshut work that I paid last Spring to the bodyshop guy I use.

Oh thanks - the jobs can't have been comparable [:D] I'm in Herts so any contacts that are cheaper are always welcome. I have been very pleased with the work that they've done though.

I took the front N/S wing off mine today, Iam looking at having a go at repairing the wing found more rust!!! First bit was where the wheel has thrown stones up and chipped away at the underseal this had resulted in small holes and rust in the vertical part of the inner wheel arch. But there was worse to come. Took the water bottle off and found that the inner wing has rusted badly next to the top of the battery I have had to cut out the bracket that supports the collapsible tube that the front bumper mounts on loads of spot welds. I have been quoted £65 + VAT for the bracket Porsche only Iam told, anyone know anywhere else to get this from? Jacking plate, kidney bowl and sill are now on. Bit more work to do to get the B-post to fit right but it is coming along.
