I'm thinking of buying

The problem was diagnosed at a specialist (Ninemeister in Warrington) as they are local to me, rather than Man Island, the OPC in Liverpool who have serviced the car since I got it "" which is a long way away with only five operational cylinders. Plus, we didn't know we were dealing with such a problem when we started investigating - It didn't run that bad - considering.

I sense Porsche may be more helpful to the "˜cause' if I can demonstrate that the issue was a recognised manufacturing fault. Assuming there wasn't an official recall, are you aware of any owners who have documentation to that effect when solving such a problem?

I'll have to defer to Nic or John (past and present Register Secs) on that one. As Register Assistant I don't actually have the records (if we have any!)
