Imported car - advice needed

Ok I will name and shame - the place in question is called Hagley Specialist Cars, in Hagley in West Mids. I do feel that I was misled by them, and will be taking it further.

In reply to Brian it's not so much where it has been that is the problem, it's the fact that while it is overseas an HPI check is useless - if it was stolen, smashed or anything like that it would be very difficult to find out. I'm also almost certain the speedo has been changed.

Without doubt the speedo will have been worked on, as Singapore is in KMH. The digital display, the odometer and mileometer can all be changed either to MPH or KMH with the cars own on board ability. What is different is that the actual analogue speedo face would have been marked in KMH and the face needed changing to MPH.
