No problem, I suspect there is some confusion about how they market being on the race car vehicle preparers list. I have checked and there is no such thing as "PCGB Approved" and so it could be mis-leading.

I have no knowledge of Car Tech and so I wouldn't want to comment on that, clearly though they do come member recommended which is a good sign.

I have used revolution twice and they were great.

I have also also heard nothing but positive things about Porschetek.

Sounds like we are spoilt for choice!

I have used both Strasse and Porschetek in the past. If I was running an older aircooled I may lean towards Strasse because of their experience, they rebuilt the engine in my 993. PorscheTek were brilliant though and much cheaper than Strasse whom I found became more and more expensive over the years.

If I lived Malton way I would definitely use Sam Lander, the location is just not convenient for me. Not had experience of the others mentioned but only heard good things about Revolution.

My current Porsche is with Full Throttle Classics for a restoration and I have been very pleased with the work Russell has done thus far.

Dave is superb and a really nice guy too. I don't trust anyone else in Yorkshire with my cars. Looks after / builds PCGB championship winning cars . He is a one man band though, so can be busy , but you know that its always just going to be him working on your car.
