Phoned them today quoted £560 xs £620 and insisted on alarm type and Tracker . Sorry no way what at my age and no points they are way off the mark Still NUD at £377 xs £329 and a 14 month policy It is a 993 so still group 20

I've just posted the following post on a insurance thread on the 3.2 Carrera forum and thought I'd share this shocking discovery with you, just in case you are not aware of this/don't read the other insurance thread.

My insurance is due for renewal soon and my "specialist broker" has been unable to provide me with a competitive renewal quotation and unable to justify the huge hike either, so I'm currently shopping around.

While sourcing quotes, I have noticed that a couple of the big insurance companies have changed their "Protected No Claims Discount" limitations from:
two claims in three years to:
two claims in FIVE years!

OUCH []

Not sure if this only applies to new policy holders or existing policy holders as well, but two of the firms are Norwich Union and Liverpool Victoria.
