Insurance Renewal !!!!

I've ended up going with Direct line for about £500, for a 33 year old, 6 years NCB (non-protected), parked on a drive (although the garaging option didn't make much difference) with a Cat 1 alarm/immobiliser. Interestingly neither esure (my previous insurer) nor first alternative would offer me a quote owing to the 'type of car'! Odd that it would seem that not all 944s are equal!
 
Variation in price - Norwich Union over £1700. Carole Nash under 300. Got some extra knocked off for belonging to a club and having cat .1 immobiliser.
 
Also worth trying Bickley Insurance on 0208 773 8123. They insure through Norwich Union and were very competitive on my last renewal.
