Classicline include cover for PCGB trackdays and then charge a fee per trackday for other recognized track day organizers. I have to phone a few days before and pay the extra charge over the phone. For Spa with Bookatrack it was £50 per day.

I'm with Lockton and they cover UK track days, or certainly do on my policy for all but one of my cars. It may be worth giving them a call. For what it's worth I've found them a pleasure to deal with.

I tried Lockton on the basis they had a PCGB scheme, with my low miles, clean driving record, no claims history. They quoted approximately 150% of the Classic Line premium...... Ehhmm...NO!

Insurance quotes are bespoke, the only way to find a suitable quote and policy is to call round. What works for some may be a long way out for others.

Classicline may be very good, I can't comment because I have not used them for a claim but cheapest is not always best, certainly not when you're looking for a pay out on a valuable car. Just my 2p worth.

Thanks for this - looks like I'll probably end up with Classicline, purely on the basis of their daily Euro track day rate, though Manning's base policy is a bit cheaper.

The no non-club trackdays information was given to me when I enquired last year. They were particularly concerned about open pitlane formats and non porsches being allowed. However, they thought this meant people coming and going throughout the day! Their knowledge of trackdays was very sketchy and I gave up trying to explain what an OP format was.
 
I used to be on Hagerty with Hiscox actually underwriting the policy. Hiscox charged for track days although I can't remember what that was. Prior to Hiscox, Allianz underwrote the policy and all TD's were included. Found Hagerty to be good and efficient and were competitively priced at the time.

Currently using Locktons with Chubb underwriting and have a collectors fleet policy. All TD's covered for all cars with the usual hike in excess etc. Price not been helped by value increases across the board which brings on to another topic.

Who is everyone using for their valuations? Need to get this done for my cars.
