Insurance....

Aside from the cost, I am not sure what the issues are.

They have a number of alternative systems which have different capabilities and different cost. I have Tracker Horizon on my 997 and Tracker Monitor on the X5.

It gives me some piece of mind that if the car goes missing then it can be recovered fairly quickly. Fortunately, haven't had to test the system out yet.
