hi ian, yep, 39 is good for me, i will be joining at 37 and travelling north, to wherever we end up.

regards glenn.

Glenn

24th October I'll be up in the Lakes so I can't do that one.

Sorry

Still up for other dates though and happy to drive the Porker during winter months.

To be realistic it's probably gonna be impossible to find a date that suits everyone [8|] so since Wayne has offered to organise this run it would probably be best for him to name the time/place, route etc.

I'm sure whenever it is quite a few will turn up, so over to you Wayne [:)]

dont believe it!!!!! the one date i could def make it and ive now got to b****y work!!![][][]

tell us where and when wayne, and ill have to beg, plead, and call in all the debts to get whatever day off it is, that u suggest!!!! like dugsud says, with the best will in the world, whatever date it is, it wont suit everybody.

regards glenn.[;)]

Not heard from our intrepid run organiser for a bit.........Wayne..........you out there?? [:D]
Any idea of a date yet? [&:]

It's all gone too quiet round here!!!.

Who's up for the Sunday the 14th November for a blast around Yorkshire.

The 14th is good for me. It will be nice to see you again, we had a good run down to Brands. I will see if I can get Jeff out in his car. By the way if anyone is reading this he is after a child seat for his car, prefably porsche as he has a 964. Its not a bad old bus but I saw a hell of a lot of him in my rear mirror on the way down.[:D][:D][:D]

Yes, we're in for that but we may need a couple of meets (we're in wakey) to get everyone together and of course a bolt hole for lunch!!

So far I count 5. There must be some more that want to join in the fun[:)][:)]

I reckon about a 10.00 start, meeting at the Bridge inn, Walshford. (working on the principal of a north Yorkshire run)

I am not too sure about a "Good" run. any ideas???

James,

Not too sure about the road works, but I guess a 10.00 start would mean that the congestion wouldn't be that bad.

Earlier on in the post you indicated you knew some good runs. If you don't come (finger's crossed for sunshine!) can you help me out?

Roadworks are because the old twisty A1 is being replaced with a new straight bit. The 'join' happens to be at Walshford.

I know a lot of good routes that start Ripon area, through to Masham and out into the Dales [:D] I'll try & get some down on an email this weekend. If not I'll plan some out next week when I'm on holiday

I agree, the Bridge inn area is pretty dodgy at the moment due to the roadworks. Perhaps we could meet at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel just as you leave the A1 north at Wetherby directly by the roundabout.

How about Ripon, Masham, Hawes across to the Lakes on the awesome A684 to Kendal, perhaps for lunch at The Gateway Inn by the main by-pass roundabout. They do good food & have a reasonable size car park.
Then in the afternoon a run over the Kirkstone Pass...etc ...etc [:D]

Just an idea [;)]

Here's the last time we were up there in the summer.

If anyone is still interested in a drive on the 14th starting at Wetherby, possibly through the Dales to the Lakes & back please post a reply.

I'll start the ball rolling with a definite yes!...I'll be there![;)]
