So who is signed up on this years Isle of Man trip?

Talked to some one booking it last week and the main hotel is already full

If your planning on going and haven't, get booking.

When is it ?

When sailing via Heysham, give me a wave as you pass the Nuke, I'll probably be at work :)

Jill and I are also booked on ,albeit belatedly, and were unable to get a regular double so had to upgrade to a King (?) suite which gets us neither a balcony nor a sea view. Perhaps a view of the mountains then!!

Andy, with a bit of luck you will have a view of the car park and my car. Better than any sea view. [:D]

Derek,

I see you have retained your sense of Modesty.......[:D]

It's our first time too and wondering where we get 98 octane fuel on the island? There do not appear to be any Shell stations as these have been taken over by Manx Petroleum? Or do they sell Shell products under their own name?

Last time I went there were 3 Shell stations nicely spread around the Island....[:(]
I did think about trying to drop onto a last minute booking but works gone a bit mayhem!!

I have just spoken to Manx Petroleum and they are continuing to sell Shell products through their seven petrol stations - including V-Power[:)][:)]

TS

2 of them are just off the TT course so that bits easy.

The fun bit is as the mountain is derestricted fuel economy heads more towards track levels than normal road driving

Lets see who's first to get under 10mpg........[:D]

I'm so boring, I'll coast downhill [:D]

Worse that that, last year my top speed in a 997 Gen 2 was 107 mpg. Still, that was much faster than what I achived 3 years ago in my Morgan. This year I might walk.

Whatever, I'll see you all at the ferry terminal on Friday 14th. I have a feeling this will be the best one yet. Hope to reach the dizzy speed of 108 mph in my 997 C2S, then it is sold []
