Isle of Man Trip - whose on it?

ORIGINAL: dereksharpuk

Whatever, I'll see you all at the ferry terminal on Friday 14th. I have a feeling this will be the best one yet. Hope to reach the dizzy speed of 108 mph in my 997 C2S, then it is sold []

Are you planning on getting something else then[:)]

Dyllan is right. I have bought the very last Ferrrai 360 Spider.... cannot compare it to the C2S Cab which does everything better than a Ferrari. The Porsche is my Laura Ashley wife; the Ferrari my truculent Italian mistress,

But I will still have a Porsche.... guess what. [:D]

Hi Guys, Vicki & I are on the trip, our first one and really looking forward to it. Hope the weathers kind, will bring a spare bottle of tyre sealant in case I need it!!

First real chance to let the new car stretch its legs so should be interesting.

Anybody stopping over Thursday night in Liverpool?

I thought that is what some of our current MPS though of as "traffic calming measures"......

So what spec did you go for? Don't keep us in suspenders[8D]

Thanks very much

Steve
Geoff Ives will have all the answers but I'll give you a overview of the trip I did- however all trips are different.

Welcome buffet on the first evening and traditional talking down to [;)]
Next day was a navigation timed run that we neither understood or realised what to do.. we went shopping [;)]
I think Geoff now has 2 early morning runs which are superb [8D] and back to the Hotel for Breakfast
The next days we were left to enjoy the Island, I'm happy to indicate any places of interest you may have if you've never been before..
Sunday evening the Black tie dinner dance..

As I say the event has evolved and changed and offers a great chance to enjoy the Island..
If you can face it, it is well worth getting out of bed for 6am for a single run around the whole circuit... whilst the limits are obviously still in place the lack of traffic on a clear circuit does give you a wonderful insight into what the bikers must go through...

Its a great trip and one I'm gutted to be missing with all you guys...[:(]

Just read this from Geoff in the IOM area
'The Gala Dinner will be on Saturday night and will feature an auction in aid of 'Parasol' a charity for injured servicemen.'

Hoping to try and get a balance of Driving and a bit of sight seeing. Any tips on good places to visit would be really helpful.
