You'll be fine. It was around 30 odd miles round trip for me and they were fine. Mine were flush to the bonnet though - I tied them to the fat part of the hydraulic strut and round the front catch. Depending on how much ribbon you could tie them to the aero part of the mirrors or inside to the sun visors like Jamie did.

I've been a bit tardy to get to the pardy lately and I've not caught up with anyone since Anglesey, but I'm through the worst of setting up my new business so can get back to online bits and bats.
Can't say I'm actually online much at the best of times but do try to keep up with the salient stuff[8D]
