It's so lonely here!!!!!

Hi Guys,

See the nearby post for the reasons why the Scottish area is now member-only.

Basically because a number of paid-up members were unhappy that non-members could be involved in the discussion about their Region's future. I'm not sure why non-members would have a problem with this, anyway? Please feel free to speak to the admin team about it if you have any questions. Ultimately it is the decision of the team who run the region in conjunction with the admin team and the membership.

As all the events are now available on the main website, and there is a general discussion area for non-region threads, why would any non-member need access to the Region forum anyway? [8|]

It is ok Kim I can join you here, seems as I did not renew my membership, albeit I only got another reminder yesterday asking me, I am now not in the members section. I was going to renew it, once all this mess was sorted out, but now I really am not too sure, my bed was not even cold and I am out! ( I was a happy paid up member for years, even though I sold my porsche two years ago, as I liked to support the club )

Oh and if it is some kind of forum glitch and we are all not seeing the Scotland members section, then I do apologise for my slight out of charachter rant [:)]

It's a glitch - a senior administrator needs to switch things around a bit so it works, we just have the forums the wrong way round.

Jane, if you haven't renewed you will be down as a non-member - has to be done as otherwise ex-members would still have access all areas. If you're just late in renewing I'm sure Nic would put you back as a member!

Paul, I honestly hope that I am late in renewing that is the way I am looking at it just now. I will renew my membership once all this mess is sorted out [;)]

Glad it is just a glitch [:)]
