Well done, Helen. Does that mean you'll be dropping in on Titanic as well then ?

Gosh! That's two front engined, water cooled, Porsches.

Welcome to the fun zone Helen & Larry. I trust you will be joining us on a meet or two, or three.

I guess I'll have to start moderating again now. [:D]

Gosh, I remember when I could just phone up and get insurance on Beaky.[8|] What you need to do is re-chip the car and then see how much more exciting it is trying to find someone who will touch the car - and if you then want unlimited mileage as well!!!!![][][]

Whatever makes you think that John?

[:D]

Is this a trend forming? H&L (ex Boxster owners) purchase a 944 as a play time toy and Mark (Boxster owner) is also looking for a play 944.

Several 996 owners that I have spoken to have had 944s in the past and "moved on" but are now looking for another 944 as a play time Porsche many years later.

While 996's and Boxsters drop in value it would seem a 944 becomes an even better investment - and great fun as well. But then we all knew that any way.

but this car is in too good a knick to thrash.

Don't be daft, it's a Porsche, they love it. Well the old ones do at least, I have heard it suggested that, unless you have a GT3, you shouldn't take the new models on the track - ? RMS perhaps? [:-]

As I understand you have to take 944s on the track - it's the law. [:)] Track days are also a great way of establishing what needs replacing next, as well. [8|]
