J Reg 944S2

Hi, I have an engine removed from my 91 S2 when I fitted my 16 valve turbo engine. Its only done 98,000 miles, has had the belts done and is an excellent runner.
If your interested get in touch. Cheers Tim

Sounds like the engine can be sorted so it rather depends on the rest of it. Not that many J plates out there so would be a shame to lose one.

I want to say a really big thank you to you all. I was totally distraught at the thought of losing my beautiful car. I posted the message and went to bed heartbroken. When I woke the flood of messages in my inbox from you guys lifted my spirits and I called Jon in Bournemouth (thanks Ewan, if there's ever anything I can do for you). He had it collected and yesterday I got her home. As you can see she is absolutely beautiful. New engine, new radiator, new all kinds of stuff, I can't tell you what this means to me. You're a great club and I will never forget how much you've done for me.
Drive careful and maybe I'll see some of you guys at a Porsche event soon. Thank You for my car! XX

Didn't feel right not showing off MY new engine.
Thanks especially to Jon of course and Ewan, and pauljmnulty, martinrs2k, zcacogp, and 944scott. You're all my heroes of the year!

Well. It's always good to be a fine lady's hero, but I'm more chuffed by the fact that your S2 is back on the road now Niki. I'm glad she's working as she should.

Oli.

Good news that it was saved! Would be interested in approximate cost if you wouldn't mind sharing? (Via e-mail if you prefer).

Looks like a nice clean engine and shiny bay!

Thanks for the update. PCGB membership packs are available from.....[:D]

Seriously, I never tout for members. If you want to join the Club you don't need me to persuade you. I probably put more people off than anything! [&:]

Great news Niki - we all love 944s on here and all are very happy to help.

I am a club member and would thoroughly recommend it.

Nice Work Lads - Another one saved [;)]

A lot of 944's are falling foul of the "uneconomic to repair" tag and getting broken up mores the pity [:'(]

+1 on PCGB Membership ! The social side itself is worth it....!
