Just an update on the "longer wheel bolts with 5mm spacers" question, I saw this on the Design 911 website (http://www.design911.co.uk/index.htm?Region=UK) which at first scan, seems to concur with the view of Porscheshop (oh, plus the bonus that 500miles in and my wheels are still attached! []). Must say those S/S bolts look quite a nice alternative to the crappy OE items;
Rusty old looking wheel nuts can spoil the look of your Porsche and ever damage your alloy wheels!
Performance parts makers DesignTek have come out with a range of high quality stainless steel wheel bolts. Available in two sizes cars with no spacers or 5mm / 7mm spacers fitted, or longer bolts for cars with 15mm / 18mm spacers fitted.
Fits 996/987/986/997/Cayman.
